I tinted my windows
Darren, that Llumar stuff is actually black, right?
I bought the $9 Walmart tint to practice technique, and I think I have it all figured out... No air bubbles, fingers were easy to coax flat, I did have a slight issue with dust getting between the tint and glass, tho. Unfortunately, all the cheap stuff that can be bought locally is a nasty charcoal grey. I put 5% on, and the darkness is fine, but I can't get over the color difference.
And yes, I did cheat by removing my windows, but it's a freaking sauna out there!

Yes the Llumar ATR film is very black looking. Its dyed with a good bit of green which makes it appear not as dark inside but you can not tell. It just doesn't make it blacked out shady inside which is nice imo.
Never removed glass to tint before, respect!
.
As long as you drench the window in tint solution, clean the glass with a razor blade and dry with a micro fiber ( spraying solution and redrying so you don't leave streak marks ), then one final drench down and apply the film and fit it. Start squeegee'n it out from the middle to top, sides, then middle to bottom and keep at it. I take a heat gun on 700 degrees about 1ft away over the glass after completion to ensure a dry, properly adhered glass.
