Probably because mines charchol, yours may be lamenx or whatever that one film that tint shops use, which has a greener look to it. My trucks interior is dark too so that may contribute.

Hey great job, gonna try and get mine redone next week.

Did you do anything to the front windshield or is it all the other tint that makes it look darker?

Excellent job! That looks awesome. I was looking at this same tint kit on eBay. Thanks for the info on their product too. I might have to give this a shot.

Yeah I was quoted $210 to do the rear doors and back window 5% and the fronts 35% and a 5% strip across the windshield. Thats when I decided to give it a shot myself.

Thanks man. Nope windshield is bare. Its the tint over the OEM privacy glass that makes it darker, and my dark cloth interior.

Thank you. Do give it a chance! have alot of patience, and spray alot of solution when you need to and get the conquorer squeegie knife from then you will be set. Professional results for the cost of a half tank of gas.

Yeah try it yourself! $210 thats alot. The rear doors and rear glass isn't even that hard. The rear window was a breeze. 3 small pieces that can just be sprayed and pasted on and smoothed out. I had hardly any trim work to do to the rears. The fronts is all the challenge is. I used 1 bottle and 1/4 of the second on the fronts.

i tinted my rear black glass 5% over the stock about two months ago and it came out great so i went to the tint shop i went to get my 15% front tints done and he did the whole truck in 5% for $147 with lifetime warranty and everything. he did say 175 but my drivers side peeled since it caught the edge so he replaced that window for free. i looked after he did the tint and he rode that edge too close again. its gonna end up peeling in a month like last time but its all good. just get it replaced for free again hahahaha. and i love the 5's all around. its sickkkkkk

yes.... I already posted the link to get the pre-cut film that I used. You will have to heat shrink the bottoms on the front doors though for best fitment.

That looks pretty sweet man. Can you see in the fronts now? My 20% is starting to look pretty easy to see in.. kinda disapoints me. Now i'm considering going back and asking for a 15% front door job or some 5% and re-do my fronts, im just never satisfied However, my tint is legal to the cops eyes though, pulled in the gas station where a cop came in to fill up, looked right at my truck then minded his own business, had me a little nervous.

mine is called "black chrome" because my back window has a reflectiveness to it and the tint guy just matched it, turned out good but i have a medium dark gray interior like yours so i dunno but looks great

Sounds pretty good. Sad to say but I dont think my 20% is enough.. Later on I may be putting 5% up front. In the shade you can see in my truck a bit, the dash is most in view, I dont like that I want it a tad darker. In the future I may peel it out for 5.
