I have the one piece halo projector headlights on my truck. i like them, just woukld like to get some better light width and distance out of them. i replaced the bulbs that came with them, Sylvania H3ST(halogen), with some Silverstar H3s that are 4100k, i believe. my main concern is trying to eliminate the "V"/"W" effect I have when my lights our on. If you have projectors, you know what im talking about. If not, what I mean is I can tell where the lights over lap each other, as you can see in the picture below.

My question is, will HIDs eliminate this effect? Or will they just make it more noticeable?Don't forget I am also looking for a wider/farther light beam too.

I think HIDs will drown out the VW effect, but still have the pattern. Someone needs to be a guiney pig, and I just got done with two more "firsts" so its your turn

 

well im going to wait alittle bit efore dropping $100 on a set of HIDs, when they are just alittle brighter than the bulbs i just dropped about $50 for...im gonna see if someone has already done HIDs with my lights, and see who they work.
