I need a new antenna

Hey guys,
I have kind of an odd issue. My truck antenna drags the roof of my parking garage at work. It hits pipes and signs that state the max height of vehicles. The noise doesn't bother me but the antenna is starting to look bent and ragged. I want to replace it with a black shorter, subtle style antenna. I prefer a direct fit that doesn't need any bulky adapters. Got any recommendations?

All I have is a 2.5AS. The garage is just really low. I am about to raise it up another inch too so I want to get this replaced soon.

I think mine is a 14" billet antenna that I got from 4WheelParts. On a side note, I have not noticed any difference in radio reception.

Put in an electric antenna and have a manual switch to raise & lower it that is not dependant on the radio's power being on or even working. If I ever need to get the front wing painted I will have the thing removed completely and one installed in the middle front of the roof. Never like em on the wing.

Just make sure that if you get something off ebay you check out the feedback first, buy from someone with the best feedback possible to try to avoid issues.

Well, I got the 14" antenna today in the mail. Happy to see that no crappy adapters where needed. On the downside, it wasn't packaged very well and got slightly bent. I fixed it. Not happy with the paint on it either, will likely end up blasting it and powder coating it. I will test my reception tomorrow. If it works well, I will powder it this weekend.

On a side note my factory antenna finally got castrated today leaving work. Yep, yanked its little ball off. Sounds a bit painful if you ask me. So, the timing of the new one was spot on.

So I'm outside talking on the phone standing next to my truck. Just on a whim I reach out and lightly thump the little ball on top of the 14" stubby antenna and the damn thing falls right off the truck. The shaft came out of the bottom piece that screws onto the base. No kidding. What a POS. Well, this weekend I am going to media blast the whole thing, reconnect it to its base and powder coat it satin black. I have just about had it with this damn antenna issue.
