I really do own an F150 :-)

Okay, I finally went out and took a few shots of my new F150..... Yes, I'm the guy who posted like 300 times, before he ever got the dang thing.... and who is so nitpicky about photos, that he didn't want to take any with a smoke brown sky, or ashes all over the paint..... even though these are pretty much just "before photos" anyway, with the exception of the bed-cover, the tinted glass, and the step bars.

I look at this shot, and I see a really nice truck, but that chrome needs to be PTM badly ! And those tires and wheels just have to be swapped ASAP ! {next week}

Anyway, I can do way better on the photography, and I will, when my truck is finished. Lousy lighting. Sun was just about straight up. Stone Green totally pops with gold mettallic, when the sun is low (morning or evening)......

Hey, custom plates are cool..... and I'll have mine in a few months... but paper plates are kind of cool too, huh ? ;-)

Oh BTW, when I got home from my drive, I had my Hella blackout lights on the porch. Whooo Hooo ! :-)
And I will be ordering my Roush grille tomorrow morning. My truck is crying for that !

Better photos, of an even badder F150, coming soon ;-)

Peace,
Fish

Hey, while we are looking at photos.....

I took this shot last week.... and I don't care if it's a Dodge ! I've loved Vipers since the first time I saw one ! {needs to be lime green though.... red... ha... what is that guy....... a 'normal person' ?}

Took this shot last week too. I hate it when my Mercedes 500 goes up in flames !

Oh.... and even sadder yet, the field that burned up to the edge of this parking lot, and torched this Mercedes, also torched a nice looking F150 about a quarter mile down :-(

I like how youve managed to capture the "heat waves" coming off of the pavement, look at the white stripes for instance

Your truck looks nice, I like the gold. What type of camera do you have?

2 things:
1) Sacramento??? dude where are you located?? I;m very close to there.
2) Where did you get your tint done, and for how much? I'm trying to find a good price on just the front 2 windows.

Hey Patman.....

Yea' I noticed the heatwaves in that Viper shot too :-) That was actually just a spur of the moment shot, taken from the other side of the intersection, during a red light.... through my dirty windshield, no less.

On that F150, I couldn't tell you the year. Saw it from about 200 feet away.... but it looked to be an 04-08 model.
The Fired started about 1/2 mile West of that truck anyway, and traveled about 1 mile East of it.

Hey.....

Johnnyd, thank you. I own 6 digital cameras, but I took these shots with my Canon A650is. It's just a point and shoot, but it is capable of taking some really outstanding shots {in spite of the fact that Canon crammed 12mp's onto that tiny sensor :-)} (remember, a camera won't take any photos at all, let alone great ones, without a photographer controlling it ;-) Anyway, A650's are sweet little camera's, and only about $290. I bought mine strictly as a car-cam, which I will always carry with me, in a little Pelican micro-case... dust proof, water-proof, shock-resistent....

mSall, I live about halfway between San Francisco, and Sacramento. Got my tinting done (all five windows) at a little place called TJ's custom tint & alarms, in Fairfield, CA, for $195. I'm going back tomorrow morning for the visor strip on the top of my windshield... for another $25.
They did my little car last year, and did a great job, so I went back for my truck. They are East Indian, and very good guys.

Peace,
Fish

Sweet man. I go to school at Davis. We should meet up sometime to do some fishing in the Delta or nab some ducks out at my blinds.

Fairfield is a little far for me for window tint, as I'm back home in the Bay Area (peninsula) now. The only place i checked so far quoted me 130 for just the front windows which seemed quite steep to me. I'm looking for like 80 bucks or less.

Thanks guys.....

Hey Alomar, Dark Stone is a really nice color too.... But stone Green replaced it in 08'. They are very similar.... but Stone Green has a lot more, and larger flaked, gold metallic.

I really like the fact that F150's (in the 04' to 08' body style) were only offered in 08'....... then they went to the all new {and IMPO devolved} body style. This means that their will never be a lot of F150's out there, like mine. I think I've seen 1 other Stone Green F150 in my home town (pop 100K).

mSall is right about the light behind the grille......... Like their wasn't enough light already ! Doh ! Stupid forced flash setting anyway :-)

Peace,
Fish
