Painted Grill

Hi there,
How does the grill look? Painted it with the knowledge gained on these forums.
I think the color is a little off in direct light, but not to bad.

It looks great and what did you end up painting it with and what type of prep did you do to it.... I was wanting to do that to mine but make it look gloss black.

Thanks for the welcome and the compliments.
I removed the grill and washed it down with some degreaser. Let it dry to see if it was clean, then I scuffed it up with a green scotch pad while it was wet. let it dry, you can see if it is scuffed up enough. I used some rust-oleum plastic spray paint. I didn't use any clear yet, I plan on doing after I see how it holds up. I used almost the whole can of paint, I think 6 coats.
My next plans are to paint the cowl, fender flares and the door handles. Not sure if that will be to much red.

Looks pretty damn good for a rattle can and no clear
and you might not want to go overboard with the color? sometimes less is more

Yeah looks good but like said before I wouldn't go with too much red. Contrast is good... IMHO.
