HID lights?
HID lights?
I only have a faint idea what HID lights are exactly but they look cool and I want some. I see there a bunch of different kits. Which kit do I need (H1, H2, etc.)? I have a 2004 NBS 5.4L SupCab
H13 or 9008 for the headlights. H10 or 9145 for the fog lights. See my signature for a link on how to install them on your truck. Good luck and post some pics when done.
I got mine from HID4U on ebay. 160.00 shipped for both pairs. Here is a link to his Ebay store.

No it is just the low beams and even they are not working well. I just got 2 relays in the mail and am going to install them this weekend I hope. Time permitting. I have to say I support needing the relay 100%.

the 6000K and 8000K is the color. the 8s will be bluer, but the 6 will have better light output
Stick with a color temp of 6000k and under. 3000k will be deep yellow and works great for fog lights. 4300k is very close to stock color. 5000k is going to be pure white. and 6000k will be white with a tint of blue. Anything above 6000k won't put out enough usable light and make those rainy night drives a living hell. Plus it cuts the rice factor down alot.

10000k is a safety hazard. Basically like trying to drive with blacklights as headlights. Not to mention they scream rice.
