New Hood Finally...

It took a bit longer than expected, but here it is.
I'll provide better pictures once it's had a bath, the trip to go get the hood got quite a bit of bugs on it.
The side view is pretty cool IMO it looks like a snub nose .38--well to me it does. What do you guys think?

Is that a true functional hood?

Next mod, it will be--never ends does it?
I'm going to concentrate on performance next.

It's a beauty, Lazarus! Is the paint on your truck a custom color?

Thanks Jack, Got my license and reg. ready for the officials on the playing field As for the color it was a stock color in '04 when I bought it--it's called Toreador Red, I was really pleased with the paint match on the hood.
Just between you and the rest of us on here. At one point in my life I drove a Yugo

Here's a pic for all that don't know what it is.

guess I'm trying to make up for that mistake.

The Yugo's a hoot! I was going to say that if you still drove one, you wouldn't have to worry about it being stolen, but, with the cost of gas these days....

The Toreador looks almost "Candy Apple" in some of your pictures. I like it a lot. And, it's good you remembered about the license and registration when you venture out in that "cop magnet"! Sort of looks like it's moving at 100+ when it's standing still!

Got it from a buddy who builds kits for Mustangs and had this laying in his shop (not one of his, but I think its a Ram Air Hood).
Here is one of his cars with a kit on it--Kaenen is the name of the comany if anybody cares for Mustang kits not the Ram Air Hood.

I figured you would get a laugh at the Yugo--I REALLY had one tho.

It's still stock under the hood--but we'll see if it stays that way
I'm sure I'll be buggin' people about tunes and performance mods next.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone.
