Where can I get Arizona beige in a can??

I wanna paint my grill to match the King ranch tan insert, what type of paint is a good match? I know I will have to sand off the chrome and the prime it, and then paint and clear coat! thanks in advance guys!

any automotive paint store can mix it up for you and even in a spray can

Or, if you want to save some money, go to any automotive store that sells Dupli-Color spray paints for "Truck, Van & SUV" and buy a rattle can of T500 "Arizona Beige".

thanks guys! by the way should I go with 180 grit sand paper or higher? thanks!

I'd think 180 would tend to scratch too deeply. You really only need to "roughen" it enough to give the paint "tooth" (something to hold on to). I don't think you need to take the chrome coating off at all.

I think I'd start with 400 grit, wet sanding, and see if it "dulls" the finish.

Has anybody here painted over chrome plastic? is it possible I really dont want to mess up my grill!
