one can of niteshade on all three, two or three coat, I did two heavy coats and almost used one whole can. Use 2000 or 3000 grit sand paper and sand inbetween every coat and I used clear coat 3 coats and sand in between each. Can out great. After I took a polish and buffed it down to look like glass

I used a cheap Krylon clear paint but everyone else says it is easier to use duplicolor clear. I guess it is up to you

Yea theirs a guy that lives near my friend he has a white f150 and his Tails are BLACK and have a Glossy finish! IT looks amazing I really want mine to look like that but i never see the guy to ask him how he got it like that.

Any idea? maybe just a ton of nightshades coats?

The more coats of niteshade the less u will be able to see your tail lights when you hit the brakes during the day so It is not a very smart idea to do so.

either a professional clear coat after the niteshades or possibly tint film

with niteshades and rattle can clearcoat, you wont get a super glossy finish

I still have nearly 1/2 can left an i did my tails 3 times, my 3rd brake light 5 times, and my headlights twice.

Make sure you use a clear primer and clean them well beforehand, i recommend alcohol to clean them (rubbing alcohol, nothing flovored

i didnt sand
i just used alcohol to clean them down
and used 2 cans of night shades on my tailights and 3rd break light lol
its a bit much but they are DARK and i havnt notice much change in light output surprisingly

and 2 coats of clear.
for some reason i used clear coat and i still have a "matte" look to them
which i kinda like .
