Question on installing my HID fogs

Ok I got my kit from HID4U. It looks very easy to install, but I want to make sure. Do I just connect them directly to the foglight harness, into the ballast, then install the bulb into the housing?

I actually address that in my how to as well. Let me get home and finish uploading that page and you should be able to access it.

I've installed everything. I'll wait to stick the ballasts.

I'm interested in that too. A lot of information on the boards to help you out, but it's scattered around everywhere. a complete how-to would be kickass.

i put my ballasts right behind/next to the tow hooks. There is a great location where they fit perfectly.

I just realized that when I turn on my fog lights I get static through the am/fm radio. It does not affect the sat. or CD sound quality. As soon as you turn off the fogs it sounds perfect, but with them on you here static. I installed the HID's in the fog, and grounded the foglight relay to keep them on with the high beams. Has this happened to anyone else? What could it be?

Maybe a grounding issue?

did you ground the relay onto the stock ground? i did that at first and had static in my radio. Changed the ground to a different bolt where nothing else was grounded and now it is crystal clear. check your grounds.

Nope, it wasn't the ground. I removed the ground and I still got the static. When I unplugged the foglight harness from the ballast the static went away. Do you think it has something to do with the HID's???
