Badges :)

Got some new badges, painted them and then hand painted the F-150 and XLT triton logos. I again used my favorite (starting to become a theme) duplicolor truck bed coating.

reminds me of the 97-03 badges with the black background.

i like it

only thing it looks like you sprayed the textured black paint over the whole emblem, and it makes the red painted parts look rough. I would have masked off the F150 part and had the red smooth

i wanted it to look rough, all the black trim on my truck and the step bars will eventually be done with the truck bed coating. IMHO the red being rough ties it all in together.

looks good! i thought about painting my '01 badges to match the truck color.

dont you have to take of the fender and everything to get to where you can take them off?? i painted my grill today, and it was fun trying to get the grill assembly on and off by myself.

all i did was use a hair dryer to heat em up a bit then went at the backing with fishing line.. once one side of the badge was loose i pulled it back gently with my fingers so i could slip the fishing like past the mounting post then went to it with the fishing line again.
