anyone considered painting badges with that "Hyperblack" paint? Its paint that is black chrome that would look good i bet on these blacked out rides. i saw where a guy used some stuff like niteshades over a chrome toyota emblem and made it look "Black Chrome" he clear coated it too it look pretty cool for a toyota emblem i guess.

for those of you that decide to paint them instead of using sticker inlays (paint will last ALOT LONGER) be sure to pick up a black paint marker if your blacking out your badges and white if you are whiting them out. no matter how careful you are you will miss some edges. i picked up a marker last night at wally world for 3 bucks, it made a huge difference. the markers are in the craft dept.

paint code for my truck was E4 which you can buy at autozone for a few bucks or most dealers have to order it (couple days) and my dealership charges 12$.

You just painted the inlay?? Did you just use a brush or marker or what. Sorry for the questions. I'm thinking of doing this to my truck. It looks SWEET!!!

niiice i really like the newer f150 emblems

are they close to the same size as the 97-03 side badges??
