Tailgate light bAR

I have seen the LED tailgate light bars that are installed right below the tailgate that when lit up you can see each little led. Is there a light bar that would install in the same place that looks like on solid light and still be able to signal right or left.

Well a camera captures the lights a bit weird. To me, mine looks like a solid line from 15+ feet away. If you want a solid line the only option I can think of it neon, but that dosent offer directionals. Maybe you can find a model that has more LED's in it.

I have the recon white lightning. It lights up white when put in reverse. I like it although I never get to see it. LOL. It looks real good with my led underglow. I can change the colors and patterns. led tail lights are next on my list.

do NOT get any lightning products from Pilot. They are crap. I have the Plasmaglow Fire and Ice model and it does the same but I believe mine has more LEDs than Recons model. I went with Plasmaglow becuase the shipping was free and it was $10 cheaper.

Raptor05121 I bought the Recon from Alon a few days ago. I didnt know the plasmaglow had more LED's. Would that make it brighter. I think ill stick with the Recon for now. But I might check out pics of the Plasmaglow for later if its brighter.

Thanks Raptor - I think you've got a good product in the Fire and Ice bar from Plasmaglow.

Now, do I want to get it?

As an aside, I saw one of these things in action a while back in the parking lot at Home Depot. Suddenly, I was a "convert"! Looked great and added to the "stop" signal from the rear. (I've been rear-ended twice, Janet was once, don't need that any more).

I'm telling you- these things are great. I love driving home at night and having people behind me stare at it. Its neat that theres not many people around here that have one, so it's kind of unique. Plus they REALLY help when I get home at night and I'm backing up. I say you should go for it. You won't regret it

I've got a Recon and really like it. What I like most is the stealth aspect of it, since you can't really see it if they are not on.

I got the "Line-of-Fire" model from Recon which doesn't have the reverse lights, but still does everything else (brake, running, blinker, and hazard lights). It was only $60ish, not too bad.

Some LED brake light bulbs and third brake light are coming soon to complete the LED look!

I have just the plain line-of-fire type, don't know what brand it is. It was only 50 bucks at stylin trucks. They also carry the fire-and-ice type for $70 and they have the new one with sequential turn signals, the 49" is 179 and the 60" is 189. They also have the flexible ones you can put on your bumper.

I just checked their site and the line-o-fire is the Stylin brand or 'house brand' and the fire and ice is made by plasmaglow and the new one 'the firestorm' is also by plasmaglow.

Is it me or does that look a bit too short for 60"? Oh, plz take some rubbing alchohol and remove that dealer badge. Its like a ugly magnet, taking all the looks away from your truck to read some crappy advertisement

Nice driveway though, I bet its a PITA to clean

Thats the 60", it doesn't quite cover the full gap on the F150, mine looks the same.
