Question Grille Help

I just bought a 2007 Supercrew FX4 about a week ago. I was looking to install a billet grille, but had a few questions, and I was hoping someone might be able to help me out. I needed help finding the right brand or style. I have a bar style, or h style grille, but I would like to get a one piece grill, not the 6 piece inserts. All of the full replacements appear to have a chrome surrounding, but I wanted to keep the painted black. Also, I would like a matching bumper piece as well. If anyone had any suggestions I would really appreciate it. This is my first post, I normally just read throught all the threads and find answers to all my questions, but I wasnt having any luck. Here is a picture of my truck if it helps.

I know you said you didn't want a 6 pc set, but this is what I did with mine to include the bumper piece From "StylinTrucks.com". The kits are from 'Carriage Works'.

Thanks for replying. That looks really good, is that the black finish? I might end up getting the 6 piece, but I think I like the look of a huge one piece billet grille. It tends to stand out more. I like your headlights a lot. What kind are those?

rednoved, I dont know much about the NBS 04+ trucks, but you might want to look into getting a stock FX2 Sport grille. There are a few FX2 sports at my local dealership and they have the OEM grille you are talking about.

Yes, those are the black finish inserts, the Headlights came from LMC truck (lmctruck.com). They look good, but light output isn't that great, even with HID in the projector, I went back to my HELLA Black housings w/ Bi-Xenon HID bulbs.

I looked at those first, but they dont have a matching bumper piece, and I dont believe it comes in a silver finish. I was looking for something similar to what you have.

Are you talking about the one on your truck? It looks like you have a chrome surrounding, which was what I was originally gonna get, but I photoshoped them onto my truck, and the chrome surrounding just looked out of place.

You could easily paint the chrome at your local body shop or even paint it yourself using Krylon Fusion paint.

Search for a billet grll that comes with a surround. Mash the billets off and paint the surround to match if you wish.

If you got the money get an FX2 grill.

thats what im worried about, matching the paint. does anyones full replacement grilles snap out of the surround like the OEM grilles? I know a lot of people said the factory grilles are a pain to unsnap, but if the finished product looks good, ill take my time and do it right. I like the FX2 grille and the HD grille, but they dont have a matching bumper piece.
