thanks ya'll

i started the fog lights today
i bought a heat gun and used screwdrivers and they came apart
purdy easy ... if they turn out good i'll do the head lights next





just put it in .. gonna check the light difference tonight

Looks great man! I wish I knew how to do that kinda stuff. I really want to black out my heads and fogs but I just dont want to spend the money to buy new lights.

purdy easy job ... i was scared before i tried them but it went
real smooth

Looks good man! I would buy a can of nightshade (like 15 dollars from summit racing) and smoke your headlights too, No need to remove them, just tape around. Heres a picture of mine. I just did 1 coat on the headlights, and 3 coats on my tail lights. When i use them at night you cant even tell there smoked. The tails look completely black, but when there in bright sun (like the picture below) you can see the red threw them.

Nay on the nightshades for the heads. Get HD or Hella's... or since you seem able to do it, paint them yourself and reseal.

Do you have ay pics at night with your fogs on? It looks like you painted over the reflector part of the housing. I just want to see if you lost a lot of light when you did this.

Looks good!

Your text didn't work earlier, but the heads look good! I'm ready to do that to mine! I think it would pop real good with the silver, too. I need to come show you the brush guard and see what you think after I finish wiring up my fog lights. Again, good job on the lights!

THAT LOOKS SICK!!! i got a red 2000 ext cab and now im definatley doing that!!!!! where did you get the red inlays from and can i get them for my year???? man that looks so sick props

did you sand the badges down before you painted them? did spay them with primer and then black or just paint them with out doing anything?

i'd like to do that to my truck also but i have no artisitc ability whatsoever especially with spray paint so i would mess it up
