Took off chrome handles

Just took off the chrome surrounding but left the handle chrome. What can i use to get off the excess glue without fading the door handle?

Good move.

I would say try scraping out as much as possible, then sand, prime, and PTM body. Would look good with the black handle.

Did you give yourself a pat on the back for removing them?

PTM = Paint to match. means painting them to match the body color of the truck

Just the chrome handles without the surrounding bezel's looks so much better, the bezel's are just tacky.

Dude, you might want to take a photography course first.

Body shop did it. $25 per handle + $100 remove and re-install.

$150 for the mirrors.

Had them painted last July. No chipping other than a few rock knicks. No different than the rock knicks on my front bumper.
