thanks, and yea i broke the pass side, but that was just the "excused" i used to finally switch out both mirrors. Imagine all that work for only the pass side and for it to be completely different than the drivers side.
Now if only i were to get into a slight finder bender on the front..
no im kidding, i hope that never happens.
mirrors will be going on tomorrow so ill get pics up by sat at lunch or so.
I CANT wait to get these on!
ok installed pics are UP!

Got them from the paint shop friday afternoon and spent all day sat getting them put together.
here they are drying in the booth, almost ready to go.

and here they are back at home in about nine different peices ready to go together.

the wiring on the expy mirrors is flipped from the F series, the mirrors have the male and the doors the female where the F150s have the female in on the mirror and the male on the door, so i had to pin two new female plugs into the expy mirrors, and then run only one wire for the puddle lamp power feed since my truck was prewired for heat and LED.

I spent almost all day sat figuring out the cleanest way to route the wire thru the huge door plug. I settled for a small hole drilled on both sides of the plugs to feed the wire in.
Heres a few pics of them on. we decided to do the small insert in the silver two tone... i think it came out great.

sorry for the edit, but i know i hate clicking links so i figured you guys would like the pics in the thread.
I gotta give props to my buddy Brad at BK customz and colision for use of shop equipment and time and also since he sprayed everything for me and did an awesome job!
Also thanks fireman, your custom led mod thread helped me out with the wiring!
Also thanks for all the compliments guys, they were a ton of work, but well worth it. i absolutely love the way they came out.
watch out for my next project...
think sub box, plexy, edge lighting with some special tricks, and NOT under the rear seat.

WOW. You put ALOT of time into those and it really shows. The end product looks amazing and 99.9% of people that see it will never even think twice that id didn't come stock like that...but I guess thats the point. I am really impressed with this one, great job!

thanks for the praise, im loving these mirrors more and more

im mainly impressed with the puddle lamps, they are like little spotters and light up just about the whole door.
