hey attworth do u ever get trouble about ur front windows being tinted... when my dad took the truck to be tinted like 6 years ago they said they couldn't do the front because of the law... i know 35% is the legal limit and thats all i want to do to my front ones...

i've got 15% on my front windows... i've seen 20% and my opinion it looks a little light... if you want to err on the side of lighter go 20 err on the side of a little darker go 15. I dont know if you can tell much about it in the pic.. but here is the best one I have showing the tint.

i paid 60 for the two fronts and 20 for the brow and a 5dolalr tip.. 85 out the door.. i came to the conclusion that my left, drivers side window is blurry.. i get a headache at night from it and when you look at a light it just spreads out in all directions like its really blurry than the passengers side. im thinking about bringing it back soon..

and thank you very much guitarman

I have 20 in the front. If you look for it, there is a color difference from the stock tint and front windows' tint. Then again, I think my tint is one of those "dye" tints, so it looks slightly "green black." Then again, it was 60 total, so I'm happy

I have 5% with a layer of 35% over the front windows.

I have 5% over the factory tint on the sides.

I have 5% with a layer of 20% over the factory tint on the rear window.

Nothing on the windshield.

And there are times when I think that I was retarded for doing this.

But pulling up next to someone at a light to have them try to look in and just look away. Priceless.

Not to mention how much cooler it stays. Wow.

I was going for the match look and ended up with 20%. The match is real close. I've been through two road block / license checks since getting the tint and had no problem with Po Po.

I have nearly the same set up as him except my rear only has 5% over the factory 20%. Its nearly impossible to see in reverse through your mirrors at night, and only headlights are clearly visible through the side/rearview mirrors. After a while, your eyes become accustom to it, and you can see better. However, If i'm turning around or reversing i usually roll them down to see clearly.

Note: Since there is more window area on supercrews the tint is easier to see in, and out. With Scabs, and regular cab trucks there is limited window area, preventing less light from entering the truck. Thus giving you a darker looking tint.

Haha! Pretty much exactly what you said. Unless the area is lit that I'm trying to back up tio I can't see anything. I roll down the front windows and use the mirrors to back up. I mostly use the side mirrors at night to switch lanes, etc. You can only see headlights just like the other guy said. You get used to it after awhile but sometimes it does get annoying.

I live in Florida.
