I did mine but didn't use the Nightshade spray, but the steps would be the same.

-Take off the lights and wash them with dish soap, this will remove and grease.
-Dry them off and tape off any area you don't want to be tinted using painters tape
-Sand them with 400 grit sandpaper
-Wipe them off real good
-Spray them with the tint
-Let it dry for 20-30 minutes
-Do the abbove two steps as many times as you want until you get them as dark as you like
-Let the lights dry completely and use very fine sandpaper and wetsand them in one direction in just a few pases.
-Spray the clear
-Let it dry for 20-30 minutes
-Repeat the above two steps
-Wetsand one last time very lightly
-Clear for the final time
-Let them dry completely before putting them on

Sanded

Tint applied

Cleared

Final result

I used Testors spray, it is made for RC cars. This is what the cans looked like.
