I like mine. I think most people do. You can check my gallery for pics of mine if you want (see "night shots" for brightness). As for the plugs inside the bed, I really can't say for I don't have them. I would think so.

Personally I can't stand them.

They're ugly and border on the line of "rice" for me...

But thats just my opinion, and you asked for it

Not my cup of tea either, but I'm an "Old Fart", so what do my opinions matter?

They are great. Just hard-wired my reverse lights in today after owning this thing for like 5 months, lol. It plus into the 4-pin connector, but if you are towing something that requires the 4-pin, you must unplug the Fire and Ice to use the trailer lights. Besides, if you're towing a trailer, nobody can see your F&I. I hard-wired mine into my harness so I can use my F&I and trailer lights at the same time. This thing is great to add to the back of large campers if you can afford it and do the regular towing with the same trailer.

I get compliments all the time for it. Not only increases safety, but I like the "hidden" look of it at night.

All working 100% fine. The tailgate bar is more of a person opinion mod. 50% hate them, 50% love them. I acutally put mine on while it was raining out!

What about the Rampage light bar that's equivalent to the Fire & ice?

I have the Fire & Ice and have to agree (now) that it's borderline ricer. The white LEDs do not add anything significant and are not bright enough to let you see anything. If I were to do it all over again, I'd just go with the standard (all red LED) Line of Fire setup.

I bought mine though Stylin Concepts and have had no problems in just over 2 years. I installed a Line of Fire bar for a friend 3 years ago and he just recently had the left side turn / stop LEDs fail internally. Both of these are hard wired to elininate the plug.

I've had the Rampage version of the Fire & Ice on order since Christmas and every time I call, they tell me I am one of the first ones on the list to get one. First, they told me the first of Feb., now they are telling me first of March. Is the Rampage brand worth it? I think it was like $62 with shipping. Or should I cancel the order and pay a little more for the plasmaglow, but I also read on here that plasmaglow bought out Rampage. so should I just wait?

Thanks!
