LED in Tails

Okay, I'm looking to get the dual-curcuit LED lights for my main tails. I hear to do this some reisitor is needed so the system dosen't flash at ultra-speed?

Where can I get this resistor at?

Any store that has led bulbs should also sell load equalizers or balancers, i.e.

http://frickinbrite.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=44

or

http://autolumination.com/equalizers.htm

Conversely you can just switch out the flasher with one designed to handle led bulbs, you can find them on the same page as the second link above - switch one flasher instead of adding four equalizers.... save money, time, and amperage.

www.oznium.com they sell great items and I moderate on their forums....they should have all kinds of resistors that you are looking for...if not, PM the owner, he will build you one

Oznium is great, I just purchased the hard-sided dome LED light. If it's as easy as I think it will be, I will be buying from them again!

just get a few resistors from radioshack, why spend money on a new flasher? resistors are way way way cheap.

well when have the harness pulled out to put the bulbs in just snip the wires a few inches from the connector and strip the wire back and either solder or use a crimp connector to put the resistor in and get some shrink wrap to put over it and its a water tight seal and if done correctly should never come undone. just remember to put the shrink wrap on before you finish the connections. damn i hate when that happens. get it all done and have to cut it apart again lol.
