Pros - Cons about different HID headlights
Anybody familiar with the Eurodesigns sold on ebay? I like the blue color - they make claims of DOT approved, 8500K is most color, clarity, etc. etc. but anybody can make claims. I've heard of these bulbs burning wires? Are they a plug n play replacement?
I'm curious cause a set of 2 bulbs is a little as $20 - somebody earlier spent $130?? Specific recomendations appreciated.

Ya that is a little cheap man...Are those just bulbs to replace your stock bulbs or is it an actual kit that comes with bulbs and ballasts and wiring?? Do you have a link to those you found on ebay?

Just my 2-cents in marketing.
Hope this will make it clear to you.
A full HID conversion kit will include the following:
2x wire harness
2x ballast
2x HID bulbs
If you are thinking to convert your original stock headlights to HID then you'll need to purchase the HID conversion Kit (mentioned above).
You mentioned that you wanted bluer lights. I would think you want to go for 8K HID lights.
Here's a breakdown:
3K - yellow lights
5K or 6K - white lights
8K - light blue lights
10K - medium blue lights
12K - BLUE lights

Thanks. I read that post(s) too and I'm like the rest of the guys here - no offense intended, but so far I've not read anyone who's tried your product vs. others who've used other brands. I'm not mechanically inclined, I'm a writer, graphic artist and marketer. I'd agree with the guys in that other post - were I you, I'd pass out 3 or 4 kits to guys on this forum for install and use, with agreement they provide you full and complete input on and reaction to use of your product - while also posting it here. We do this in computer software all the time - its called Beta testing. A few hundred dollars investment on your part to give away a few kits could mean thousands in sales. If our product is all you say it is, there'd be no problem. Plus you'd build a stronger rep among folks on this forum.

i installed my hid's around Christmas...yesterday another f150 memeber and i had just finished installing an alarm on my truck and we pulled into a gas station and there were 4 cops staring at me. i got out and overheard them talking about lifted trucks...and hour later my buddy went back and the cop was still there...he said: arn't you the guy who was with the guy in the big black truck? and he was like yea...we'll he needs to lower his lights they are going to blind someone.... i thought it was kinda funny being that my headlights are aimed all the way down (completely maxed)...just letting you know if you have a lifted truck you might get pulled over.
Ok well heres the deal man, any bulb your going to buy to replace your stock ones are not going to be as bright or as good as your stock ones unless you by Silverstars or PIAA replacements. I here that the PIAAs look really good and are very bright...They will give you a very pure white look to them... If you want quality bluer lights that will give you more light output then stock, you will have to invest in a true HID kit. The kits include 2 ballast(One for each headlight) and then if you get them for your fogs you will get another 2 ballasts. The Coloring usually goes like this: 3,OOOk very yellow 4,000k-5,000k( BMW/Acura look) and then andything from 6,000k up starts to have a blue tint with 10,000k starting to look even a little purple..I recommend anything between 5,000k and 8,000k for maximum looks and light output.
We've added a limited promotion to the first 5 customers from F150online.com. Buy one kit, post your review in my thread (https://www.f150online.com/forums/ap...ating-hid.html), and we'll mail you a second kit free (equal value). That's buy buy 1 get 1 free.
