Just wondering what the best headlight buld is that gives the effect of HID without converting over to HID?

i have silverstars too, there way better than stock. but no headlights can give you that HID look, regardless on what they "claim"

I'll give another recommendation for the Silverstar Ultras. I haven't used anything better/brighter.

Silverstar here. Snagged some Ultras for 37 at Advanced Auto (SS are 27, apparently they have them on sale at all AA). Figured my year old Silverstars are about to give out.

I've heard the PIAA are good, but they don't last that long and are expensive.

Well I guess sliverstars win. I got a set for Christmas. I am currently away for the hoildays without my truck so I will have to wait until the new year to install them.

I just got a set of xenon blue's 6000K off ebay and they work just fine.

Depends on how much money you wanna spend.
