Ford/Black Headlights Installed

The glare from the sun diminishes the difference a bit, but here's a before and after. BTW, are the factory/chrome headlights worth anything or does everyone look to replace them?

Are they slightly tinted/smoked, or is that just the picture?

As for the headlights, I'm sure someone would want some to have a spare set to do the "DIY Harley" mod.

Oh yea, they look very nice.

The lens/front cover is identical to what I had...clear. The "back panel'" the piece the lights are actually set into is black vs. chrome.

The caps that replaced the tie downs and the lights came from Moss motors. I'll probably paint them red ot maybe a matte black.

When I purchased the headlights I was told they were phasing out the Ford assemblies (which those are) in favor of those made by Hella. However, they had a few pair remaining. Paid $245. The Hellas were going to be priced a bit higher.

Thanks for the comments. Oh yeah, the grille is from Carriage Works.
