My latest intake mod

hand painted the intake cover and plenum took about 3 hours but i think it looks fantastic!




(in keeping with the random body part insertion found is so many other threads, i have accidentally included my toes)

just added a little flair to the engine compartment. it only took so long because i used the better part of a bottle of ford touch up paint and a really small brush.

lol i dont but my father did, out near schnetacty(sp?) NY. though he now works for lowes.


why paint the plastic? its already black, just a little dirty.


i actually dont have alot of time to kill, i work about 45 hours a week and work nights most of the time. But when i want to do something i usually spend alot of time on it.

all the plastic on your truck is dark grey not black. Just like my grill before i painted it the first time

Looks great tho Pheonixx. I agree with Patman you should have painted it black first, I have been thinking about doing the same thing to mine.

the plastic piece is factory, i just painted it.

but if you mean you need one, check the junkyard.
