Very nice job painting that yourself

I think the chrome surround may match a little better to go with your bumper.

Looks good though

Looks good!

This is what I switched from and to. The bumper is one of the next things to get changed.

IMHO, both trucks look 110% better with your new FX2 grills!

Both you guys' jobs look really sweet. Those FX2 grilles really look good on our F150's (atleat the late models that I've seen). I don't think I've seen a single 150 that has the FX2 grille that I didn't like.

I'm thinking about switiching my honeycomb (which I do like tho) over to the FX2 as well or possibly the Roush. Can't decide if I want to go w/PTM or chrome on the surround, or chrome or black on the actual grille (don't want to do the PTM on the grill). Ohhh, so many decisions! Well ain't got no extra mod money right now so guess I got some time to sit and think about it.

Here's a pic of my truck as is. I am going w/the chrome/black motif, as you can see my grille enclosure is already chrome. If I got the FX2 grille, do you think I should paint it black or go w/the chrome roush which has pretty much the same design as the fx2?

What about for the grille surrounding? It is already chrome so do you think I should keep it like that or go with the PTM? As you can see I am a chrome person, but I also have the black wheels and like that color as well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and by the way, where did you guys purchase your FX2 grilles and how much did they run you if you don't mind? Thanks for all the help. You guys rock!!

I gotta admit that the more I look at you guys' pics w/the PTM surround, the more and more that I'm liking that and leaning towards that direction. Still tho, throw your opinions my way.

I'm planning on getting the FX2 grille after some suggestions from people here that it would look good on my truck.

Just out of curiosity, where did you guys get it from so I can "drop the hint" to my girlfriend (my birthday is Dec. 11th )

Also, my truck is bright red... I was thinking to PTM the surround, then have the slats painted black... what do you think?

thanks for the replies everyone! my goal is to swap to painted bumpers with fogs and maybe paint over the silver stripe on the side $$$ permitting... the options are endless for the buck fiddy. shauna, i bought the surround and grille seperate, both on ebay, about 140 total, the fx2 part was used, but in good condition. tasca has them for reasonable prices. Thanks for looking!

Part #

Shaun,

Sorry, here is the part/item number for the FX2 grille, 7L3Z8200CPTM.
Just copy/paste it into the "part#" section on the home page. It is for F-150 for model year '04-'07. Hope this helps.

Looks great! Anybody know of a similar style grille for the older style F150? I've got an '02.
