Lemme see your grille
Question about the Roush grill - do you have to put the emblem on it? I like the grill but don't want the ford emblem, is there like a spot on the grill that the emblem has to go on or can it go without? And does it come with the grill surround or does it involve all the pain in the *** cutting like other replacements?
You are welcome Quickie
Also, Mattman....you can leave the ford emblem off the roush grille if you like...There is no setback in the grille..
There is a truck on this site that has the Roush grille without the emblem.
It is Matt05FX4...Here is link to a thread with a pic of his truck without the emblem

Cool thanks for the info RC4NC. So does this grill involve cutting of the grill surround to install it? And is the Roush website the only place to order it or would I be able to pick it up locally at a parts store?
You do not want to cut the surround if you are going to reuse it.
I was able to take a couple of screwdrivers and bend the tabs enough to release them from my old grile and then pull the surround off. However, this was the hardest part of the grille swap and took the most time.
Once you have the surround off, just realign the tabs with the slots on Roush grille and the surround will lock back in place.
The rest of the installation is just bolt the grille on.
As far as cost and buying, I checked around with a couple of dealerships and they were having a difficult time locating a part # to order it. So when I found it on the Roush website, I ordered it from there.

I just ordered the Roush grille. Thanks to Nassty and RC4NC for their insight. I hope it isn't still on backorder. I just got my Autospring 2.5" leveling kit and I want to install the leveling kit and the grille asap!
