Anyone have or seen any good overlay emblems along with a place to purchase them. I am looking for something to change the front, rear, and steering wheel emblems from stock blue. I think even the black look nice since i have a black truck but i really want the john deere ones or camo ones if anyone has an idea where to find them.

 

Do a search for "Devries signs" Roger will help you, he made some custom overlays for me...great work.

When I bought some for my old Explorer I bought them from ebay. Mine was a black one with chrome flames

 

I've got an '06 made in the latter part of the year....If your truck was made in the same time span, be aware that Ford changed the ovals....on my truck's ovals, the Ford script is raised and they are about 1/8" larger than the trucks built in the first half of the year....I've purchased emblem overlays from about 4 different venders..Devries included...all of them didn't fit....Rog's overlays were of the highest quality, but unfortunately they were too small...I think FoMoCo has pulled something on us...guess they didn't want their trademark covered up.....hope you read this before you waste money on something that won't work.....

I just got an email on the 25th from roger, he is currently moving to a new shop and will be another month or two before he is ready.

 

If your brave or a craftsman anyways, you can always strip the emblems of the old paint from the back side, and custom paint them yourself. I'm in the process of reversing the current scheme, chrome - blue, and blue - chrome.

 

I bought a set from a guy on ebay just a couple of weeks ago - goes by Route 66 Decals. If you can't find him that way, pmail me and I'll send you his email address.

 

How do you look up a seller by there id...i mean i think i did it right...but it came up with zero items for Route 66 Decals

I just ordered some off of www.webxtremes.com and they mention the 1/8" difference so they should fit fine.

also does anyone know if I can ADD a badge to the front of my truck on the grille. Just in case I wanted to?
