I sell and install Whelenand a few aftermarketbrands as a side job and they all are pretty reliable, There are some after market brands as well Nova, Galls to name a few. Depends how much $$$ you want to spend. They pretty much install the same though some have different ways they are wired to the paks.

Just be careful about what color and where you use strobes. For instance, using white, forward facing strobes on most public roads - and not being a cop - will allow you to try on jewelry at the roadside. And you'll get to meet somebody who can legally use them!

I would like to get something thats good quailty and will not require me to take a loan out. I want to get like a 4 - 6 strobe setup that might alow me to expand later on.

Where near the NJ shore do you install and sell the strobes at? I am in Howell, NJ so I might be fairly close to you.

I am actually very close to you!! I live in Freehold. I mainly use Whelen and Nova on installs. Are you a volunteer fire or firstaider? I have to install them on my truck also, but debating due to headlights and tails are clear and will show the bulbs. Trying to figure out how to hide them in the lights. As for your 4 to 6 head pack, pretty much 6 is the standard and run from $169 to $300 depending on the watt of the pack desired, figure about another $125 to $175 for install. Takes about 2 to 3 hours to install.

I do home improvements and some times leave the truck half on the road half off..

As far as a fireman no i am not but I am thinking about joining the house down the road.

Good prices on the strobes I cant do them right now but maybe in a month or so. Spending 2 much money right now taking my motorcycle to the race track.
