The things behind the cab that kind of connect onto the back?
And.. are they hard to put on?

I've heard them called cab extenders. And it just bolts to the bed. No connection to the cab.

 

And are you actually considering getting them?

 

Why, are they bad?

 

Just keep in mind they will give you a terrible blind spot.

They are ugly . most people like the look of them. My dads old company truck had one on it and we took it off.

 

Well, I've really been thinking about buying one for an '87 Ford my folks might be selling to me. I think it'd look nice if the truck was jet black, had jet black "cab fairing/extenders" (as above) on it, and a few other accessories/things done to it.

I think they'd be horridly ugly on a newer F150 (1997 +) but I don't think they look that bad on the 1987-1996 styles.

How do you guys find them ugly? Sorry, but I just don't see it.
