Tool Box Color

I want to put a tool box on my new truck pictured below. I am leaning towards a black diamond plated box from husky also pictured below. Now I think it will look great but I've had some people tell me they think the black will clash with the dark shadow grey, so I want you guy's opinions, or if any of you have a DSG with a black tool box I'd love to see pictures. Thanks in advance.

And Here is the box I want.

Edit: Also if anyone has an opinion on what black nerf bars would like with this truck, or if you have pictures of DSG with black nerf bars that would be greatly appreciated.

No way will black clash with DSG in my opinion. I plan on putting a black bull bar and black rims on mine. It'll look sweet. I don't think the chrome goes as well with the DSG

Black goes great with DSG and so does chrome. If it where me I would go with the chrome cause thats the kind of guy I am but black would look killer also.

I think the chrome would look better. A friend of mine got a bed cover for his F-150, and even though he ordered grey, it came in charcoal. Believe it or not, the charcoal looked like an add-on. When the correct grey cover came in, it looked like it belonged. So the long and short of it is I think the black will clash.
Have you considered buying a plain steel box and having it sprayed to match you body color? I had mine done in green to match my truck. I wasn't in a hurry, so I left the box with the body shop and told them the next time they sprayed the same green as my truck they could shoot my box. Since the paint was already in the gun it didn't cost very much. Just $40.00. So what if it took them a month.
Just keep in mind they can't spray over powdercoat.

Theres a big difference between a bed cover and a tool box, when it comes to bed covers or toppers I do believe they should match, but you rarely if ever see a tool box that matches the color fo the truck, regardless with color matching bumpers I think this truck could use something of a different color, though I am still not decided for sure I don't think grey would look good for what I am going for, for some maybe but not me. Does anyone have pics of a grey truck with a black toolbox?

seems like you will want to match that box to the other add ons you might buy. would you add any chrome later, like door handles, fender trim, gas cap plate, mirrors, nerf? think about what else you might be adding. if chrome is added later, then you might want to stick with the chrome box.

i would either match to the paint or stick with chrome.

I went through the same thing when i bought my tool box. I finally decided to just go with the chrome even though I had a black bull bar and black step bars. I think the chrome boxes look better but in your case the black box would probably be a better choice. In the pick below you can kinda see how the chrome looks with the DSG at the bottom of the truck. It doesnt look bad.
