True, I don't do any off roading but I just don't care for my body style lowered. If I had an 04-08 there's a good chance it'd be lowered.

Although tonight I could have used a lift on my truck tryin to go through the snow. It was up to the body line on the door.

Shoot, i got stuck in my lowered 150 today, but only cause my buddy is an IDIOT and decided to stop in the middle of 3 ft of soft snow, woulda been fine if we kept going though!

Bankrpt has enough other stuff on the truck to pull it off. I do like his truck.

I don't even really care for my body style lifted. There are a few I think good, then others I see I just don't care for.

I like them with a nice rake in the rear at stock height. That's just my preference though.

to each his own i guess i kinda agree though. i think my 250 sits perfect, don't want it lifted at all. I do want a big 6" stack out the middle of it though. hahahaha

At least yours throws out black smoke so it'd look cool. I hate people that put stacks on these newer diesels that don't blow black!

Whats the point of a stack when a regular exhaust diameter will evacuate the gasses just fine? Lol

A lifted truck runs over and kills a baby bunny for each reply this thread gets.

And the lowered trucks just use the bunnies to protect the frame.

question: what do "rednecks" think about lifted trucks over 5"?

one could argue that practicality and function dont play a role in trucks lifted that much too right? most trucks i see lifted dont have nearly the articulation as my wifes stock rover. why do people like lifted trucks then?

my truck is lowered 4" from stock and i can tell you i did it for practical reasons, funner to drive (handles way better) and looks. i haul my bikes (dirt, street, track) and i can tell you it's 1,000,000 times easier and safer to load/unload out of a lowered truck.

I am looking at droping the rear springs 2" to level the truck. Just like the way it looks. But it won't hurt the hauling capability at all. I will never slam one, but that's my choice.
Yes, what he said is true. Even I too have a cover over the back of my truck, but the inside of the bed is scratched up already from hauling stuff.

Leave the stacks on your semi's, they don't belong on pickups
