Clear Corners...Need Help!

Is there really any difference in the quality of clear corners. They sell all kinds of them on ebay for my truck (97 f150 4x4) and you can get them shipped for like 20-30 bucks and I was wondering if these are just junk or what. Will your bulbs out of the original corners fit in these and also how big of a deal are these to install. I think they really set off a truck and if these 20-30 dollar ones are quality then they are definately worth the cash.

I usually don't care for APC stuff, too fake blingy, but their clear corners are top notch. Got mine a few years ago and they look, feel and fit factory. Bulbs interchange easy and everyhting. There will be a noticeable gap between it and the headlight but nothing to be concerned over. Give em a look, don't think they are all that expensive, mine were a gift so I don't know how much $$$. I'm not familiar with ebay ones, but they are probably good too. There seems to be alot of different styles on ebay too.

When I get $150 together i'll get Lightning headlights with diamond clear corners. My suggestion for clears if you drive in winter with your truck unless you want them to fade put your stock ones back in. Wish I would have done that to my old Explorer. Do they make a bulb thats clear but glows orange? basically not looking orange when off? I drove with clear bulbs in my Explorer.

Yes, they do. It's actually a "chrome" paint on the bulb...so it matches the silver/chrome of the inside of most headlight compartments, but illuminates orange. You can find them on ebay or most local part stores.

just installed mine today. got them off ebay for around 30 bucks. fit perfect and yes the stock bulbs plug right in but i went ahead and put the "chrome" bulbs in. well worth it looks much better than the amber bulbs and still light up amber. they are exactly like your OEM corners except theyre clear. there is one screw on the top of each of them and they slide right out. took me all of 5 minutes to finish. ill post some pics tomorrow

I got mine off of ebay as well and had no problems. If you want to see some pics of the "chrome" bulbs installed then just scroll down this thread link:
