Yepper. A honeycomb design to match the LARGE main grille. (kinda looks odd with the fairly large opening in the bumper. ). Don't run a license bracket, so it really looks bare there.

Anyone know where to get one?

I bought mine from Ruxor Ford in Indiana.
Ruxer Ford Sterling
123 Place Road
Jasper, In 47546
800-397-8937
812-482-1200

just ask for the parts dept. and ask for the G.A.P grille insert.

I've got a 2006 FX4 (F150) and I bought the honeycomb insert for that empty hole. I got the part--but it doesn't fill the space. THere are two little pieces that should on either side to complete the job.

Is there another kit I need to get -- or is this one of those projects that just gets shelved?

Thanks

The two side peices should already be there unless Ford stopped putting them on in 06 in order to save 50 cents.

That figgers--seems like whoever I bought it from said it was right fit. This is getting to sound like a lot of my boat projects--buy 3 parts to get one right.

If I could remember who I got it from I'd try and return it--lemme know what it's worth to you. If it's reasonable offfer I'lll be glad to clear the space on my kitchen counter.

I received an e-mail from the folks that manufacture the GAP grille insert in the honeycomb pattern. They will probably not be manufacturing one for the 06 due to mounting problems is what I was told. Darn, I really like the looks of them too and didn't want to go with a billet style grille.
