i think they look ok...depends what you want them to do...to dress up the front and have a place for some lights? should be fine...for frontend protection, i might look elsewhere...it's all what matters to you, your money...have fun, Rich.

mostly just a place for some lights, however they are frame mount so they would offer some protection in a collision It either that or the outland sportbumper guard

I saw these the other day at the truck shop but could not find them on the web. I don't want one of the big massive guards that look like moose antlers mounted on the front. I kind of like the ones the police cars have and these are close. I wish I could find a "safari bar" for a F-150. They are close in size to these but tubular. I would get the black ones though (not pictured here).

Go for it.

There's no way I will pay 3 bills for the Bull Bar in black. I would consider 150 + ship.

Still....Let us know what you find out.

Cool

It's Smittybuilt....stay away.... rust... and I've seen them literally fall apart on trucks.... WAAG makes a nice small push bar similar to that, but high quality one piece construction.

If one is buying these front bars as a means of protecting the truck during an accident, they are only fooling themselves. If you have ever witnessed a vehical after a collision with a front bar, you would know that they cause more damage than without one. The bar gets pushed into the engine compartment because the force of the impact is not uniform along the front bumper, it becomes a direct force load thus causing more damage. However, if you are buying this for looks, thats cool.
