Hey boomer, are you from Oklahoma. Just thought you might be. Yes, get the Roush bumpercover. I paid $1300 total for my Lightning bumper cover and wish I had gotten the roush one instead. I am broke now. But thats just my advice.

I got the roush cover for my '97 after much deliberating. After all is said and done, I'm very happy with the choice I made. I bought mine direct from roush. It cost around $300.

Thank you. Did you get the fog lights with your bumper cover? And if not what kind of fog lights did you get. That is a great price for the bumper cover the one i found was $665 and the fog light kit is $222....

the fog lights came with the kit, but you don't have to buy them. I would recommend you get the lights though. they fit perfectly. All the wiring is nicely loomed too. there's also a relay so they will automatically turn off when you turn on the high beams. I couldnt figure out how to do it though(there were no directions) so i just hard-wired it. The kit lights cost $175 which is a deal. I was thinking about not getting them, but then when I started looking at the prices of lights, i relized 175 was a deal. Plus the lights are Hella. (there is a Hella logo on the relay which leads me to believe the lights are hella too.) By the way, since I took those pictures, I put a billet grill in the bumper opening. It made a great improvement in looks. The opening is more defined now, kinda looks like the front end of the Harley-NICE! Let me know if you have any more questions.

Josh,

Can you please post some updated pics of your bumper with the billet grille? I've seen your other pics, but they are a bit too dark to see the whole roush bumper cover. Thanks

drcarrillo,

I'll post those pics for you as soon as I can.

99flareside,

Thanks for the compliment. The truck has a belltech 3-4 drop on it. If your in the market, Ultra Performance had the absolute lowest price on the kit and the shocks. (at least they did about a year ago when I did my shopping)

Cool

Hey Boomer...have you heard of CDC (Classic Design Concepts)? They make a real nice bumper cover with fog lights. I bought one and put it on my truck and I'm real happy with it. I found a local retailer to order it, install it, paint it, etc for just over $500 which isn't bad because if I remember correctly it costs about 350 to but it direct. Then you still have to pay to have it painted at a minimum. Anyway, here is a web link to their site and a pic of one installed on a white effie. If you have any questions about it just let me know.
