Looks Good!!

Do you have a 3" body lift w/ the suspension lift? The bull bar looks like it needs to be raised up, but it also looks like it is the old style bull bar (Can tell by the design of the skid plate). They recently redesigned it so it came out of the holes where the tow hooks come out of instead of coming out below it. I'm doing a 3" body lift to mine and always wondered what it would look like if the bar wasn't raised with the front bumper. Actually, it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. But I will probably still fab some new brackets to raise it with the bumper.

Actually I was planning to raise the bar but once I installed it to measure the brackets I decided it looked good the way it was. I was also thinking that should I ever get into an accident it would be low enough to absorb some impact and act as the bumper since my truck sits fairly high with the 6" suspension lift and 3" body lift.

Yo Gunner your rig looks great!!! Congrads!

I wanted to get a set of headlights just like yours but the clear ones, not black. How were they to install? Did you have to do any additional wiring? Were the instructions adiquate?

Post more pics if you can!

I was actually suprised that they installed fairly easily, instructions were useless that came with the lights but it was pretty straight forward. The hardest part was getting them to sit properly in the openings, a lot of playing around but they did seat finally. Had to tap into the marker light on each side to wire up the Led's but that was a piece of cake. You sure do get a lot of looks when you install them, people are constantly walking over to look at the lights.

I don't particularly care for it... has the whole 'mall-cruiser' look. But I do respect the work and money you've put into it.

Can you explain what a "Mall-Cruiser" means? I can safely say that although it may be shiny on the outside I can assure you that there is enough Mud under the body and frame to build my own swamp.

I like it! That truck has just the right balance of parts that make it all work IMHO. Nice stance, nice wheels, and the Lund helps top it all off. Mean, but yet pleasant all at the same time.

Actually it was stored out in Wellsley for the winter so you may have seen it when I brought it home, or I was down at the mud bog at gopher dunes and kind of got lost and drove around the country for awhile so that may have been it.

Just in the process of installing the winch, have to get the mounting plate customized to mount to the frame, hopefully its back from the machine shop this week so I can get it hooked up.

Still looking for ladder bars then the Super Charger goes on. It never ends really, there is always something you see you just have to have.

If anyone has seen Ladder Bars for a 98 please drop me a line, I am at the point of maybe having them custom made if I can find a fabricator.

Thanks.
