Very cool movie, and very nice truck. I have a question for ya. Whats your feeling on your setup vs. the fabtech setup. Cause with the next two years I get another f-150 and this one gets "recycled" heh heh. And i wanna be able to throw under 35's, but still have a nice ride.

 

If you do a search in the suspension section on rancho lift im sure youll find alot of info including my opinion about the rancho vs. fabtech.

In a nutshell..Im very familiar with both kits and I chose the Rancho for its ride quality mainly. It rides MUCH smoother than fabtech kits do and it retains the stock ergonomics of the suspension so it works/feels about the same as a stock truck! I will add a point in Fabtechs favor tho. Currently there is no way to go bigger than a 7" lift when using the Rancho (4" kit + 3" bodylift), whereas you can go as much as 10.5" when stacking Fabtech kits with a bodylift. I personally think my height/attitude is perfect for 35's and It fits my tastes like a glove, but if you want bigger you'll need to go Fabtech.

Bootcamp closed there doors alomst 3 yrs ago. The schools are still there (32nd st), I am hoping that the training center (bootcamp) will be torn down and turned into a huge park for families and a place to hang out. NAS North Island is building a (large)new NEX and Commissary, opening this Nov. They are also adding a 3rd aircraft carrier to it's inventory, so traffic on the Coronado Bay Bridge will be h*ll now, it's bad enough with two carriers in port. Well just thought I would gring you up to date on what's new in San Dog. I retire in 5 yrs 11 months :-)
