Double sided tape for F-150 emblems ?

How did you remove the emblem w/o damage to paint surface?
Please advise.

I used 20lb fishing line and see-sawed it back and forth around the "F" then lifted the corner up (not easy) and slid the line down between the plastic pin and emblem. Then contiuned to see-saw until it came off. The fishing line will get hot and break, just feel the line, if it's rough slide more line down.
Are you going to the TX Heat Wave? We will be there, I can show you in person.
