Post clear corners and lenses

Are clear corners and clear tail lenses legal in California? Someone told me clear corners are legal and clear lenses are only legal if you use red bulbs. I also heard otherwise. So can someone please put my head on straight. thanks

Cool

Split,
A few of us here went round and round with these exact questions. Dig back about a month or so deeper and find the threads for "clear corners" and I think the other was "Light Covers". Again, here in Pa, they are both ILLEGAL, because they differ from the original manufacturers specifications, meaning they are w/o properly colored reflectors. They are not legal to pass a PA inspection. I will say that you will probably get away w/ the corners, but the tails are a topugh one, plus being in "sunny California",it's tough to see those taillights in the daylight. Goodluck.
