CR1, Remember, Check all local laws. Even if the lighting is DOT approved, there may be a local law against it, or state law. Still looking, but now I work all week so it'll take a while......1GoodCop

Situation is under control now. Autodynamic doesnt stock the clear corner for the '97 F-150 (early makes), but guess who can get 'em. You guessed it. F-150 online comes through with flying colors. Thank you very much Roger.

Good Cop,
I had no idea that i had an early model. I figured it out when i ordered the clear lenses from Autodynamic and they didnt fit. Not even close...let me tell ya. Interesting footnote here though. On the box from Autodynamic it had a disclaimer saying that these were NOT legal for street use. Show only it said. Kinda made me wonder.

I ordered the same Clear Corner Lenses from Autodynamic.com. Mine came in yesterday. The right one had a 4 inch crack at the bottom. The left one had the appearance of white adhesive/paint splattered on the upper and lower edges. Needless to say, I am going to exchange them for new ones. Has anyone else seen this white adhesive on their lenses? I'll let the board know how the response from Autodynamic goes.

Big John.

My corners came in perfect condition (even with a protective clingwrap over them) It did take a couple of days for Autodynamic to get back to me as far as returning them goes. But they did credit everything back with no problems. Good luck to ya.

Thumbs up

I ordered the clear corners on 6/19 from Autodynamic.com's website for $29, got them today, put them in in about 10 minutes. They fit and look perfect. No cracks, paint, or other damage. Disclaimer sticker on the box, also. I don't know why there should be a problem, my 97 Grand Am has FACTORY clear front signals with orange bulbs. What makes them "safe" and not an F150?

Same here, ordered mine on the 19th and got them on the 21st. Autodynamics wasn't sure of they would fit a Y2K. They do fit great with no probs.
