I like the way the Lightning/Harley corner lenses look, but I can't justify paying $150 for a set. I found these on ebay and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. Is this a quality product or a POS?

i have the tyc lightning corners and headlights and they look great. i havent compared them right next to set of oem lightning corners, but i cant see any difference. and no fogging

 

Check Ebay they got knock off all over the place.

 

TYC and DEPO are as close to OEM as you can get!

 

Thanks fellas, I think I'll take my chances with the TYC's and hopefully save some money in the long run.

I don't have TYC headlights, I have the replica Lightning CORNER lights. So far, I love them. No one can tell they aren't OEM Lightnings. If you're looking for headlights though, I would not buy anything less than OEM caliber or better. I have Xenarcs and am extremely happy with them too. You may want to check out OEM Lightning or Harley headlights, as well as the Xenarcs. I'd stay away from knockoff headlights in general.

I bought the corner light off ebay and they look awesome, but the yellow bulb looks odd. Am I suppose to change that with a clear bulb, or what?

 

No, leave the yellow bulb. By law, your turn signals must be amber or red, NOTHING else. Most vehicles do use a clear bulb for the turn signal, but they have amber plastic that the light must pass through, which will turn it amber. Since the L corners are clear, they have to use that amber bulb.

In case any of you are interested, there is another bulb out there that looks silver when off and amber when on. I believe it is made by Silverstar or something like that. I bought mine at advanced auto. I dont have any pics, but I will try to get some soon. I like these bulbs way better. Nice clean look.

 

I put clear bulbs in mine. I figured since the police around here don't bother the ricers w/ their red, blue, green, yellow, or purple lights, surely they won't pull me over. Clears have been in for 1.5 yrs and I've never been pulled over for them.
