Why buy projectors when you can spend a few dollars more and have true HID?

Check out the APC 3D Retro corner lamps for the F-150. They're an interesting alternative to the tired clear corners.

thx guys. i like those projectors but, yes those corners jus didnt look good with those headlights. And the prices for a nice matching set was jus more than i wanted to spend.

i ended up getting these for 190 shipped...

i also got some new tails as well:

lol thx to u guys ive gone on a truck modding spree =). recently added a pioneer cd/mp3 player, rockford amp, 10" rockford sub, acteoned my badges, and painted my honeycomb grill

going to attempt painting the tailgate handle and if that turns out ok then the door handles as well...

nerf bars and flowmaster 40 on the way!!

Hey guys i just put my lights in and they look great =D

one question tho, the turn signals work fine when the lights are off, but when i have the lights on, the corners are constantly lit and do not flash when i use the turn signals...
i never looked to see how they worked before i changed the lights. Im using the same oem bulbs with the original oem sockets and connectors.

Is this how its supposed to be?

thanks

Smok][n,
The Silverstar turns fordman4life mentioned will look like this installed in your corners. They are silver/blue unlighted and bright amber when lit. I have Silverstars in all my front lights and they are a major improvement over stock.

ya im gonna definitely have to get me some of those. I saw a pair at auto zone for $20. Is there a specific number that i have to get?

anyway was looking at airdams because the new lights seemed disproportional to the front end. was looking at the piaa valance but then saw some threads with trucks with Truck Master airdams and i had to get one.
I checked online but the price i basically saw was $249 plus like $100 shipping! ouch. well some google searches yielded a place here in Atlanta that carries them. Went there this morning and picked it up ~$290 including tax. Then took it to a body shop and asked about painting. The guy said theire minimum charge was $200 and i was like **** that! talked him down to $150. they did a good job (for now). I installed it and think it looks great.
I also got some of those stainless door handle and tailgate covers but havent put them on yet.

Neways truck is coming along nicely

Trucks looking really nice!!! Very good choice of add-ons you have chosen as it really gives the truck a clean look.

The Silverstar turns are part # 3157A/4157A ST. They also come ina 2 pack but the package looks a little different.

thx guys!

actually i dont mind the black above the chrome bumper that much, plus dont feel like shelling out another 150 to those body shop ppl

EDIT: i am howver, liking my two tone less and less... =p

so i think im done with the front end besides the silverstars.
im gonna get some stainless nerf bars to kind of accentuate the mid section of the truck. and the tail lights tailgate handle and acetoned rear badge will help the back, but i want to do some else. with the taller valance and nerf bars, i feel that the area behind the rear wheels will appear "skinny" compared to the rest of the truck. i dont really like the look any of the bed skirts ive seen, and i dont want the truck to have that plastic toy look.

any ideas will be rewarded with...COOKIES! lol jp

thx
