Oh, I see what you mean. That is exactly what he needs. The grille surround and honeycomb insert.

You just remove the grille surround from the truck, remove the ford emblem, and insert the speed grille over the existing grille and clip it on with the included clips. Then it is just putting everything back on.

If you've done these then you know you don't just clip it on with their clips. Those things are *****. And it didn't just slide in, that was my problem. So zip ties it is, I will let you know Invalid on the grill. Thanx again!

I have heard from more than one person that the clips are crap on here over the past year. Post some pics of your truck when you get it done.

Done two actually... the main grill and bumper cover grill. The clips definately suck, but they hold good. You just have to clip them on to certain parts of the inside of the grill. Zip ties probably would work a lot better though.

Just some food for thought. I bought the Speed Grill, did a test fit in the nose of my truck, and immediately returned it for credit. Didn't at all like the fit or the quality. I've since bought and installed a Grillcraft mesh grill (see pic).

The pluses of the Grillcraft grill are:
-1- It installs without the stock plastic grill in the surround.
-2- It fits the grill opening perfectly.
-3- Build quality of the grill is very good.
-4- Doesn't require any cutting on the surround for installation like billet grills do.
-5- Allows you to return the stock grill to the surround (if you choose to) with no issues.

For me, the Grillcraft grill was a far better choice. You might check it our at Stylin Concepts if you want this look but also want a better quality grill. Just my $.02.

That is an awesome grill. That is the first time that I have actually seen it installed. I would have got it, but I needed something to match my bumper cover too.

As fate would have it, Grillcraft sells a lower grill insert for both the OEM Ford 4x4 and 2x4 valance as well! I bought one, test fit it, and just didn't like the look for my truck (I decided that I prefered the open look in the valance). Stylin Concepts sells both. Take a look..........

I have the Street Scene Gen. III bumper cover though. I plan on keeping my grilles now that I already have them, but if I could have I would have bought the mesh grilles.

Ya I remember I had to specify if I had the honeycomb insert or not.

My main complaint about the street scene grill is it is a giant bug trap. I always find big bugs stuck through one of the holes. Usually have to pull them out before going through the car wash because they get lodged in there pretty good and the car wash rarely gets them off.

Anyone else have that problem.
