Was it pretty easy or hard to install your flame gauge face plate, I am wanting to do something similar to it.

I added the Platinum gauges from Nu Image to my '01 and it was even easier than the instructions said. Nu Image has an online instruction sheet at their site ...http://www.nuimage1.com/images/insta...rd_install.asp

If you go with the Nu Image brand think about getting the accessory panels to match - only about $100 shipped for both Platinum gauges. I think the Flames were about $15 more.

 

What do those platinum gauges look like at night?

 

They are silver with blue letters. the blue flame gauges are awesome at night if that is what you like.

 

Are they actually blue or are they that indiglo blue?

I don't wanna go with the flamed gauges, even though they look nice.

 

the blue flame gauges from nu image are really blue. i've never seen indiglo gauges for my truck. i have seen them for the 97-98 - not sure what is different about those years than mine though.

 

I mean do the platinum gauges have blue numbers or are they that indiglo blue (just the numbers).

I know I have seen the indiglo gauges for our truck. I think that APC makes them I will look for ya and post a link.

my gauges have blue letters - nothing like indiglo. i bought mine at www.hyperformanceauto.com - about $10 less than streetperformance and they had free shipping.
