Post Friend got his amp...

Ok, i had a thread about helping my friend putting his sound system together, he got his amp, it's right here with me, a Kenwood 600w, they're at my house because (he's 16) his step dad doesn't think he needs it, but we're gonna put it in his truck sometime soon, once he gets the subs, i suppose they'll be here too.. I'm gonna get an amp for my single sub, somewhere around a 600 or 500 max, because my sub is 500 max. but i want to be within 150-200 dollars max spending... I was thinking jensen or kenwood, what do you think?

NEVER look at max wattage! Doesn't mean anything. Always check RMS for speaks and amps. If you really want to stay with Jensen look at the 75w/ch does around 250w bridged. Kenwood around the same. For more power and much cleaner look at MTX can be found very reasonable on e-bay.

what is the RMS rating on the amp. Then I can let you know the best sub for your price range.
