3GS isnt listed on the compatibility chart for ipod control. Im pretty sure it works with the bluetooth though.
I don't use the iPhone for music, but, I'm sold if it hooks up with bluetooth. Only thing I want the headunit to do is bluetooth, I got navigation on my phone, so don't see why I'd need it in the truck.

well, heres the salesman in me coming out...would you rather look at navigation on your small iphone screen, or the larger indash screen? Not to mention spoken commands are louder via the HU vs. the phone. Another downside to cell-based nav is if you lose cell coverage, you lose your nav as well.

Bigtruckguy, the pics will have to wait til tomorrow man...i cant find my micro SD adapter...

Not true, the 3GS uses a sepearte GPS chip so you still have navigation even with out service. My F90BT actually charged and played my 3GS which was surprising because a lot of guys on www.avic411.com reported it didn't.

I loved mine though, the 3.0 update really helped out those units.

Build looks great so far!

Mine doesn't work if I have no service.

not yet. When I do, it will probably be a single ten in a box under the 60 part of the back seat. The sub amp will be on the drivers side of the board.

OT: Props to Sundevil2188. He helped me out with getting me some audio equipment for my truck that fit my needs and at a reasonable price. I am very happy with the sound of the system and it meets all of my needs without having features I didn't really need.

Hate to barge in on his build thread but I wasn't sure about the etiquette of starting a new thread for this. Anyway, he was a big help and I just wanted to get the word out there.

Thanks Travis
