Pics!!!!
Alright...we'll start with the cluster.
Before...stock

After...

So there it is. In the first pic, if you look above the fuel and temp gauges, you can see the small points that im talking about. I had 1 extra blue 73 led, so thats why the fuel gauge illuminates blue. Not sure yet what im going to do with the odometer...anyone have any suggestions? I also noticed that the the airbag light and the 4x4 light never fully shut off, they are very very dim at all times. Havent figured that one out yet.
And now on to the AVIC...

My only daytime pic...

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the dash kit, considering its design. The trim ring is pressure fit around the deck, and secured at the bottom with the two AC screws. I thought i was going to have issues with gaps, but they are almost non existent. The snap locks are also very strong, however, to get it out, you need to remove the ac controls so you can push on the back of the headunit...in other words, give it a reach around
Some nighttime pics...look how awesome the colors match my AC controls!

sorry the phone pics SUCK! lol. A couple other notes...GPS antenna is mounted underneath the "football" panel on the top of the dash. Its magnetized to a piece of metal under there, works awesome. The blue tooth mic is flush mounted into my overhead console...still getting feedback on the sound quality up there, so we'll see how it goes. Ipod cable is in the glove box now instead of my center console. I dont like this, and may change it in the future. The ipod cable that comes with it has the 30 pin that branches off into two pieces, one is a 6 inch or so USB, which attaches to a 3 foot usb off the back of the headunit. the other is a 3 foot RCA, which attaches to the AV harness on the pioneer. to run it to the glove box, i'll have to run a USB extension to behind the HU, otherwise removing the headunit would be impossible with its USB ran down and under the carpet.

options are pretty much unlimited. Its got like 8 preset colors, then you can adjust the RGB values as well.
looks great without all the extra KM/H numbers in there!
I'd see about putting some sort of strip along the bottom of the cluster to keep the brighter LED light output in the cluster so you dont get that line at the bottom, or is that just a reflection from the trim that is in front of the cluster?
As for the odometer, what color is it now? Is it still green? Its kinda hard to see from the pics, but since there is no color lens over it, there has to be an internal light in it somewhere, since its just a quartz display

3GS isnt listed on the compatibility chart for ipod control. Im pretty sure it works with the bluetooth though.
