Remote Wire Question?

I have the Pioneer 3100 DVD. I did the DVD bypass using a Bosh relay, which involves using the remote wire off the H/U. Can I still splice into the remote wire for the amp remote turn on. Also when I add my second amp down the road, can I splice into the remote turn on wire at the amp board for the second amp?

Yes, though you may want to use a relay for that, too. In other words, remote wire activates relay that provides power directly from the battery.

Your best bet would be to use a relay. I'm sure you won't encounter any problems running your bypass and two amps on the REM+, but I personally wouldn't chance it.

The only other option you have is splicing a wire in to your ignition wire (or the red wire) and connecting that to the amplifier. The suggestion for that would be to use a relay.
